Life Story
Keon Kenneth Hampton, 36 years old, died suddenly on March 12, 2023 in Elkton, Maryland. Keon was born on June 17, 1986 to Elizabeth Hampton Jackson and Gregory Bordley.
Keon received his education from Smyrna School District and graduated from Sussex Central High School. He played football with the Golden Knights and held a successful competitive rank. Keon also attended Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pennsylvania for one year then transferred to Delaware State University where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Human Services and Information Technologies. Keon’s most recent employment was in his field of I.T. with Green Tech Company.
Keon was a very kind, loving, and energetic soul. He loved his family with all his heart. He also loved animals.
Keon was preceded in death by his father-in-love, Arthur L. Jackson; paternal grandparents, Dennis Sr. and Ella Bordley, aunts, Diane and Barbara Bordley; and one uncle, Randy Bordley.
Keon leaves behind to mourn: his children, Ariana Marie Hampton, Keon Kenneth Hampton Jr., and Kal’el James Hampton; girlfriend, Jennifer Vance of Elkton Maryland, mother, Elizabeth Hampton Jackson of Smyrna, Delaware; father, Gregory Bordley of Camden, Delaware; brothers, Antwaun S. Hampton, Cory Hampton (Kristi), and Taevon J. Jackson all of Smyrna, Delaware; grandparents, Betty E. Combs and Mary L. Jackson both of Dover, Delaware; and Isaiah Jackson of Dagsboro, Delaware; nephews, Amari Collins of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Davonte Collins, Hezekiah Cory Jr., and Sire Adonis all of Smyrna, Delaware; nieces, Marryah and Rhianna both of Smyrna, Delaware; aunts, Cassandra White (Joel) of Wilmington, Delaware, Debra Jackson of Dover, Delaware, Theresa Jackson of Riverdale Georgia, and Nonnette Jackson of Chelsea Alabama; uncles, Charles Hampton (Tamara) of Camden, Delaware, Ronald Brittingham Sr. (Joyce) of Millsboro, Delaware, Dennis Bordley, Dennis Bordley Jr., and Anthony Bordley Sr. all of Camden Delaware; a host of cousins, extended family, and many, many friends.
