Life Story 

Our beloved Lelanni Marie Durham, passed away on February 3, 2023. Lelanni was born on July 25, 2001, in Dover, Delaware to parents, Heather Durham and DeMont Brown. She was the loving mother of her daughter, Nakylia Durham, whom she loved dearly.


Lelanni had a life-long love for family and friends that will never be forgotten. As the eldest of her siblings, she possessed a caring and compassionate nature that was unmatched. Lelanni's heart and soul were genuinely devoted to those close to her. She believed in the importance of family, to which she was incredibly loyal, and took pride in making sure everyone around her felt loved and appreciated.


Lelanni lived life to the fullest, as she was often the center of attention. Her charming personality and contagious smile radiated joy; making her unforgettable to everyone she encountered. She enjoyed having fun, creating lasting memories, and making an impact on others, her laughter and smile will be imprinted in our minds forever. Lelanni was taken from us too soon, but she touched many lives during her short time here, and will be remembered as the loving mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend that she was. Though we mourn our loss here on earth, heaven has gained an angel who will be greatly missed, but will forever remain in our hearts.



Our beloved Lelanni is preceded in death by her grandmother, Karen Brown.


Lelanni is survived by, her mother and father, Heather Durham and Demont Brown; her daughter, Nakylia Durham; siblings, Madison Durham, Jasena Durham, Gregory Barlow Jr., Anaya Brimm, Morgan Brown, Izabell Conner, and Houston Brown; grandparents, Kathryn and Clarence Durham Sr. and Alan Sr. and Phyllis Brown; aunts and uncles, Tori (Ronald) Romano, Clarence (Barbara) Durham Jr, Dawn (Matthew) Chaffee, Joshua Durham, Brandy Durham, Whitney Durham and Shontee (Gary) Sensenig, Alan Brown Jr, Adrian (Precious) Brown, and Alisha Glover, and a host of cousins and close friends.
