Life Story
TERRY ALEXANDER CEPHAS, SR., was born in Dover, DE on December 11, 1941, to Lloyd and Helen Cephas. He fostered a love for carpentry at a young age which grew into a fruitful business and long-life career until his retirement in 2003. He was best known for his straightforwardness, sense of humor, and always doing the right thing.
After retirement, Terry devoted his free time to his growing family. He enjoyed traveling outside of Delaware to Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Georgia. He also loved watching college football and basketball, particularly his Oklahoma Sooners and Kentucky Wildcats.
Terry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Virginia, and six children, Terry Jr. (Winnie) of Avenel, NJ; Robin Cephas-Savage (Louis) of Gaston, SC; Robert (Rikeisha) of Dover, DE; Felisa Waters (Travis) of Chesapeake, VA; Sandra Reeves (Anthony) of Manassas, VA; and Jerome (Ayanna) of Cedar Hill, TX. He is also survived by his siblings, Lloyd Jr., Flora Neizer, and Jerome, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Lovingly Submitted,
The Family
